THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (Feb. 9, 2008) – Occidental men's tennis dropped their first Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match of the season at the hands of the California Lutheran University Kingsmen by an 8-1 margin.

The Tigers were swept in doubles action, as all three Kingsmen pairs posted 8-2 victories.

Making the lone win for Occidental was Reid Fenning whose impressive play against Jordan Culpepper concluded with a 6-3, 5-7, 7-6, 10-4. victory

With the loss to the Kingsmen, Occidental's season record drops to 1-4.

The Tigers return home to play Caltech on Friday February 15, for their second conference match of the year.
