BURBANK, Calif. (Feb. 28^th, 2010) - Claremont-Mudd-Scripps visited the Burbank tennis center to tangle with the Tigers in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action.  The Black and Orange battled in the latter stages, but the Stags were to strong overall, winning by a final of 9-0.

Oxy struggled in the doubles portion of the dual match, losing by a combined score of 24-5.  Victor Sowers gave the number two singles player from the #5 ranked team in the country all he could handle, dropping the first set before storming back to even the match at one a piece with a 6-4 win, but he could not keep the momentum and eventually fell in three. 

The win by CMS extended its conference win streak to 44 straight matches.

The Tigers (3-3, 1-3) travel to La Sierra on Monday, March 1^st, for a non conference tilt against the Golden Eagles.
