LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Mar. 24, 2010) – Oxy dropped their third consecutive match, this time to the visiting Banana Slugs from UC Santa Cruz by the final score of 8-1.
Santa Cruz jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the doubles portion of the dual match. The Tigers tried to claw back in it, as Chris Wan took the first set of his opening singles match, but it was not enough as he fell in three sets.
The Black and Orange only win came when Stefan Pastor battled back to win in three sets, but it was not enough to change the outcome.
Oxy (5-6, 1-3) will try to snap the skid when they host Whitworth this Thursday, March 25th.
