THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (April 3, 2010) – The Tigers saw their three match winning streak come to an end at the hands of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference leading Kingsmen. Oxy traveled to Cal Lutheran looking for the upset, but came away empty handed, losing 9-0.
The Black and Orange battled in the opening doubles matches, with Victor Sowers and Chris Wan falling in a tight 8-5 match at the number one doubles position. Stephen Perkins and Spencer Choy followed that up with a battle of their own, before losing 8-5.
That was the closest matches of the day, as Cal Lutheran really stepped up, cruising the rest of the way to stay perfect at 16-0 and 5-0 on the year.
Next up the Tigers (8-7, 1-4) host Caltech on April 10th with first serve scheduled for 9:30am.
