LA MIRADA — Led by Keilani Ericksen's (Waimanalo, Hawaii) win at the No. 1 spot, the Occidental College women's tennis team edged Biola University 5-4 in a non-conference match in La Mirada on Tuesday.
Ericksen defeated Kathryn Ashford 6-4, 6-1 and Oxy (5-11) took all but one of the singles matches to earn the victory.
Sara Charney (South Pasadena) won at No. 2 and Catherine Anderson (Newtown Square, Pa.) won at No. 3.
Oxy finishes its regular-season SCIAC schedule at Whittier on April 19 at 2 p.m.
