Los Angeles, CA – Four more Occidental track and field athletes traveled to North Arizona University to showcase their indoor racing and throwing abilities. Jack Spencer, Chris Haliburton, and Jacob Torres represented the men's sprinting team. Gabriella Knutsen represented the women's throwing team. 

Spencer and Haliburton competed in the men's 60m and 200m dash. Both men should be proud of their performances as their hard work begins to pay off. Spencer ran 7.27 in the 60 and 23.62 in the 200, which was an improvement in his time from the previous trip to NAU.  Haliburton ran 7.16 in the 60 and 23.84 in the 200. Additionally, all eyes were on Knutsen as she set out to PR throwing the shot put 38'6.75", placing her in eighth place overall and sixth in Oxy's All Time list for the women's shot put.

While these Tigers return back to Eagle Rock, the rest of the team will be competing at the Pomona-Pitzer All Comers meet on Saturday, February 18.
