Claremont, CA – The Occidental Women's Tennis team played a difficult match against a highly ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Saturday to wrap up their weekend of matches. 

In the Doubles portion of the match, Senior duo Sarah Fleming and Andei Fukushige kept it a close match in the number one doubles match against some of the best players in the country, falling 5-8 against the Athenas. In the Singles portion of the match, Andei Fukushige competed against the number 5 ranked women's tennis player in the nation's D3 poll for the number one singles match, and pushed the match to three sets with a win in the first set, going 6-3,4-6,6-10. 

The Tigers will play their next match on Wednesday, March 29th, where they will host UC Santa Cruz at home at 4pm.
