Redlands, CA –The Women's Tennis Team traveled to Redlands over the weekend to compete in one of their last conference events of the season. It was a challenging match, as Redlands is ranked 30th in the nation and Oxy is ranked 40th for Division III Women's Tennis.

The doubles matches were competitive, where Senior duo Andei Fukushige and Sarah Fleming battled out the set in the number one doubles match until falling 8-5. Alexis Matabuena and Mathilde Depery had another close match in the number two doubles, also going 8-5. Entering the singles portion of the match, Senior Andei Fukushige pushed her match to three sets in the number one singles spot, coming back in the second set with a 6-4 win to fight until the end before losing 3-6,6-4,8-10 

The Tigers have one more match before the Spring season comes to the end. They compete at home on Saturday, April 22nd against Caltech at 10:00 am for Senior Day.
