The Occidental Men's Tennis team traveled to Cal Lutheran to battle out a win against the Kingsmen to move up to 13-5 on the season. In the doubles portion of the match, Seniors Seth Lipe and Matthew O'Connor won the number one doubles match and First-Years Isaac Herrenkohl and Quentin Kemna won the number three doubles match to put the Tigers up 2-1 heading into the singles matches.

In the singles portion of the match, four Tigers racked up wins to keep the team on top. Matthew O'Connor won his number one singles match in a third-set tiebreaker to clinch the first point in the singles for the Tigers. First Year Ace Andres won his match with a commanding 6-3,6-2 two setter at the three singles, and fellow First Year Quentin Kemna won his number four singles match to put the Tigers up 5-2. Rounding up the singles matches, Sophomore Brett Miller defeated his opponent 6-2,6-1 in the number six singles to clinch the sixth point for the team. The Tigers ultimately won the match against the Kingsmen 6-3 to add another win on the season as they approach SCIAC Playoffs. 

The Tigers have one more conference match-up before they finish up their spring season, where they will host Cal Tech on Saturday, April 22nd for a Senior Day match to conclude their regular season.
