LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Men's tennis picked up a huge 5-2 win over Chapman on Friday, April 10 to improve to 2-2 in SCIAC play.

For the second time in the last three weeks,
Jack Yurich earned the clinching point for the Tigers. The sophomore earned a 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 win in fourth singles. Yurich went 2-0 on the day, helping set the tone with a sweep of the doubles matches.

Tate Ransom, recently ranked seventh in the West Region, took down No. 9 Aram Izmirian in three sets, coming from behind, 3-6, 7-6, 2-0 (ret.).

Men's tennis has a pair of big matches coming up with a chance to nab the fourth and final spot in the SCIAC tournament. The April 11 match at Cal Lutheran in a must win for Oxy.
