A sneak peek (October 22-28)

Men's Soccer

• After a 2-0-3 start to SCIAC play, the Tigers dropped four of five, falling two points out of a SCIAC Tournament spot.
• Oxy faces Whittier and Caltech to close the season and with the Poets two points up on the Tigers heading into the final week of play, the matchup on October 28 should prove crucial to the final standings.
• The Tigers can finish, potentially, as high as third depending on tiebreaker scenarios.

Women's Soccer

• The Tigers jumped off to a scorching 4-1-1 start in SCIAC play. The surge was led by Melanie Rodriguez, the anchor in goal, along with Alessia Sacchi, who has scored the most goals of her career in her senior season,
• Since, a buzzsaw of a schedule has resulted in five-straight losses, but the Tigers remain in the fifth and final tournament spot at a point over La Verne.

Cross Country

• The Tigers are fresh off of their best team performance of the season, with both squads placing in the top five in their field at the Highlander Invitational.
• They'll take this weekend off and prepare for the SCIAC Championships on October 30, hosted by Pomona-Pitzer.

Men's Water Polo

• The SCIAC is as competitive as ever and the Tigers have been on the short end of some nail-biting games thus far – three of their five conference games have been decided by three goals or fewer.
• The Tigers still have seven conference games to turn it around and build momentum heading into the home stretch.

Women's Volleyball

• Sophomores Sloane Shoop, Jasmine Shum and Corinne Van Haeren have continued to improve in their second seasons. Each individual has posted at least 150 kills on the year.
• As a team the Tigers have just five games left on the docket and look to win four or more SCIAC games for the first time since 2021.
